Bienvenue Internet!

I finally got around to restarting my blog on my own website 🎊🥸. This is attempt #4 😞. I fell into the trap of using someone else’s platform. When it didn’t have the features I wanted, I abandoned them. But I yearn to organize my thoughts and share them with whoever is willing to read them. I think it’s important to polish an idea, organize your thoughts, and share them with others. It’s one of the greatest skills we have as humans. In contrast with many other animals on this planet who pass information vertically (through offspring, genes and their expression), we can pass knowledge and skills horizontally to peers. We don’t have to wait for generations to pass to gain insight into the universe AND we can record our ideas indefinitely for someone, far by distance or time, to pick up where we left off.

The amount of words I have consumed from individuals who have no idea I exist but nevertheless have changed the trajectory of my life is innumerable. It’s time for me to give back.

My interests lie all over the place, but I spend a disproportionate amount of time pondering the nature of thinking, the essence of things, logic, software and computation, video games, movies, cartoons, humor, biological sciences, social topics, and existence.

Ultimately, I hope my words get you to think a little bit deeper about life (both the monumental and the mundane), take your interests a little bit farther, feel your emotions a bit more, and express yourself a little more clearly.
